I finished up this bag for rags (aka-the rag bag) last night. This is the 19th project I've made from the book Handmade Home by Amanda Soule.
I used a tablecloth that I bought a few years ago at Kmart for a dollar and some thrifted bias tape. For the 'rag balls' I used scrap fabric and embroidery floss. Oh-and just look a my beautiful new mugs. My goodness, they are a thing of beauty!

Very pretty!! Hey, did you get your mugs at BigLots? I had them in my hand and put them back because I have so many but loved them. That is so funny!!! Love the purple color of your "rag bag".
I am a wife, and a mother, sister, daughter, and Christian. I still have a lot to learn in this life, and God is teaching me new lessons every day!
This is the space where I share the 'stuff' I make and the photos I take, a place where I've made wonderful friends, and also a sort of love letter to family and friends!
I love tea and chocolate!

Yep-Big Lots. I have too many mugs too-I'll give some of my old ones to Goodwill!
Love the colors! Yes, the mugs are beautiful too. Watch that puppy does not chew your new rag bag!
