This, my friends, is my new, old (and I mean old!) 1972 Swiss Colony (hey-I thought that was a cheese and candy mail order company!) camper. |
I love-before and afters, something from nothings, being resourceful...you get the idea. :) |
I'll be using lots of cleaner, primer, paint, fabric, and whatever else I can find around here. And lots of Goodwill finds-I'm sure! |
What I won't be using is a lot of money! |
Until then, do you want to come along for the ride??? Ohhh-this is gonna make some good blog fodder, I think! PS-Some of my house pics are on Etsy's blog The Storque today. Very exciting for little ol' me! |

oh, my! this is very exciting, i can hardly wait to see what you do!
Ah-you are definitely doing it! Good. It is really cute and I'm sure once you get working on it, it will be a happy place to stay - poor Larry - he may never see you again!
Yes, Etsy is how I found your blog today :) Congrats! And also congrats on your new tiny home.. this will be fun to follow! It already looks very cute. -Tammy
I just discovered your blog today because of Etsy and I LOVE it. My husband-to-be and I are looking to pay off a significant amount of debt for a while and are thinking about living in a used rv/trailer for a couple years (it might sound crazy to some people but we are very enthusiastic about paying off student loans, car repair debts, etc. fast). Anywhoo... I love that you are transforming an old trailer. I can't wait to see what you do with it!
Looking forward to your camper renovations! We have done it and it is fun. It takes some work but the small space makes it go fast. Camping is lots of fun too. There is definitely something cozy about it. I grew up in western PA and did alot of camping there. Beautiful places to visit and enjoy. Have fun!
I'm seriously envious. Seriously. You are going to have such fun transforming. I am definitely coming along for the ride.
Congratulations, Holly! First, congrats on your feature on ETSY. How exciting!!!! Also, congrats on your sweet camper. Can't wait to see what you will do! I know you will make it beautiful and charming and I will want to move my camper next to yours!
Oh sis...seriously! How cute. Mom told me yesterday! Can't wait to go camping with ya. Cool you are on Etsy. Are you selling stuff? I'll check it out.
I love it Holly!!!! It is soooo cute!! Not at all what I pictured when you told mee it was really old and needed alot of work. We're definitely going camping when you are all done!!!
