This evening I decided to handwash a few linens (I love that word-linens!) and hang them out to dry. I bought the fruit tea towel at Goodwill today and the others I came across as I was looking for something else in a basket here at home. My mom had given me the two on either side of the fruit towel. I think they were my grandma's. The one on the far left is one I bought new. I have no idea why I didn't have it out before this. I decided to take a photo because I thought they looked pretty-and lo and behold I got a little visitor..........
You may stop in (and stay for dinner) anytime, Mr. Hummer! Next time bring your friends-but no fighting-there's plenty for everyone. :)
How beautiful - both the birds and the linens (I like that word too). I wish I could photograph mine - they are too jumpy (of course they have seen Levi and Noah hanging around :-))
I am a wife, and a mother, sister, daughter, and Christian. I still have a lot to learn in this life, and God is teaching me new lessons every day!
This is the space where I share the 'stuff' I make and the photos I take, a place where I've made wonderful friends, and also a sort of love letter to family and friends!
I love tea and chocolate!

You and your hummingbirds! I had one in my trumpet vine yesterday -- it scared me when it buzzed by.
You have the sweetest visitors!
I picked up a few vintage linens a few hours ago.
They are so handy to have a lovely to look at. Hope you are well.
