I finally did another project from my Handmade Home project. This one was Papa's healing cozy. Basically it's a flannel shirt cut down to the size of a hot water bottle, then sewn up. We've never owned a hot water bottle, so I ordered one. It's kind of cool and will come in handy, I'm sure. I bought the flannel shirt from the 29 cent rack-at Goodwill, of course.
(What we use for heat now is a corn bag-which is a tea towel or material sewn up with dried field corn in it. Then you microwave it a few minutes. They're so great!)
25 projects done, eight to go! I better get a move on if I want to finish by the end of August.:)

Very cute. You are on a roll! It was good to talk to you!! Finally made it to Goodwill today and left empty handed. BOOHOO. Adrion wants some advice on how to finish off a looped potholder. He found potholder stuff at a yard sale that had the kit and worked on one at camp and doesn't know how to finish it. I told him you are the expert.
Yes-I am the potholder expert! I'll show him or tell him how. Oh Adrion-a boy after my own heart!
Aren't you afraid of having popped corn? (haha). Your project (as always) turned out great.
Jodi-I have thought of that. But I can say for sure dried field corn doesn't pop. Smells good though!
Keep on truckin'! Very cute idea.
You go girl!!! I can't believe you have most of the Handmade Home projects finished - quite an accomplishment.
Just discovered you! I made a pillow out of a shirt of my husbands for my son - he's 18 too and just graduated. I wanted him to be able to have a piece of his dad always with him to comfort him even though he's independent and strong...we all have times we need our father's hugs.
