I finally finished up my recycled t-shirt potholder rug that I started last August. You can see when I started here and here and here.
So by my calculations-about 10 red t-shirts, 630 loopers, 35 potholders and 1 callus make a new rug for in front of my kitchen sink.
I stitched the potholders together with thin strips of t-shirt and a large needle. I hope it will stand up to washing-it will need it quite often.
I think it turned out great!☺

That a lot of work -- and pain to go with all that work. Ouch. But, it did turn out great. Here comes your virtual pat on the back.
Oh I love it! Great job.

Yes-thanks Jodi for the virtual pat on the back!
Jodie-it was great. Ahhhh thanks!
Way too groovy Holly. When i first looked at it i though "no way you made that"
Then i realised.... Holly can make anything!
Morning sickness is still a horror, but on the plus side... Im pregnant and i have lost 6 kilos!
Back to my bucket.
Ps, i miss hanging out here.
Oh-I wish you would feel better! Soon-hopefully-soon!
Very pretty, Holly. It turned out great so I will join with everyone else and give you a virtual pat on the back. It really pops on your floor. Your hard work really paid off!!
love it!!
THAT is awesome. :D
love this! It looks textured and kind-of bumpy, which, I imagine would feel great under foot. :)
This is cool! I have never seen this before, what a great idea. my kids use to love to make those potholders and it kept them busy for a long time:) i love what you did with the idea!
I have been trying to get Pearl to do this for awhile -- but it is a commitment! Yours looks great!
