Dad made chili

Dad made chili (and canned it) and I'm so glad he did, because that means all I have to do is make grilled cheese and open up and heat up a jar of chili and supper (or dinner-but we say supper here) is done. Not that I do much more than that any other time. :)

Thanks, Dad (and Mom)!

Wonderful! I have just been thinking of freezing some meals like this, to help out on the days that I teach at home but still have to feed my boys at lunch time! Thanks for the inspiration.

You're welcome, Floss!

Melissa-it does have some meat in it-you don't eat meat do you? It is yummy though-it's what we had tonight!

I do eat meat, just not professional enough to can it yet!

Oh-okay. I think there was a pressure cooker involved! My dad's the professional. :)

Yummy! That is so sweet of your Dad and Mom to do that. I think they need to adopt a fourth daughter! HA!!

That looks so good....My dad used to make pickles. The best pickles ever. I'm sure this chili will be the best too.
