Love those colors, socks too! Really pretty blues and purples! Hey, if you make enough rugs, you can throw them over the dust and you wouldn't even notice and you could keep on a chugging away. You are so fortunate to have found your "niche". I thought I would have found one by now but I don't know what I want to do. I guess God is teaching me patience! Keep up the beautiful work. I saw a show in the middle of the night last week that said this and it reminds me of you, "If you work with your hands, you are a laborer, if you work with your hands and mind, you are a craftsman and if you work with your hands, mind and heart, you are an artist."
Awww-that's sweet, Dawnie. I can't wait to make you some rugs!
Ellie wants her socks back! She told me to type that. She had a pair a while ago just the same and lost them.
How many rugs have you made now Holly?
And where are you hoarding them all?
Haha-Ellie, I hope your socks turn up!
I'm losing count, Melissa. I'm thinking about 18. So far, I've given all but 5 away to friends and family. My child took two to give to her friends' moms. She didn't want one herself, but she didn't mind giving them away. Go figure!
I love the visual interest your new socks and foot poses make! Ha ha. Your rugs are gorgeous. I just love mine and so does Amber! I'll post the pics on FB soon - we've got a house full of sickies, so things are a bit crazy now.
i want those socksssssssss
These rugs are fun and so are the socks :)
You and your rugs. I think you need a blog devoted soley to your new passion.
I love this rug! And I like your socks too.
I do think the lines on the socks and rug make a cool composition, as do the contrasting lines on the wood from the deck.
Lovely! And I can't believe how you are cranking out these rugs! Love the socks, too. :)
The socks and foot-pose make me laugh. :) Your rugs are wonderful. :)
