This afternoon I thought I'd work on the Broadturn bag from Handmade Home. I used this lovely, yellow floral, thrifted, holey sheet. Apparently I'm into yellow-it's what I seem to always gravitate to. It didn't take long. This bag was really pretty easy to make, although I did have a little trouble sewing the bottom on. Ah well, it's good practice.
24 projects from Handmade Home (by Amanda Soule) done, 9 to go. I'm in the single digits now. Yeehawwwwwwww!!!!!!!

Love it! Yellow is my favorite color. My next house, if ever there is one, is going to have lots of bright colors and yellow!
I feel sure you will get your yellow house someday, Jessie!
You are really doing great with those projects, Holly! I love the bag! You are so creative turning the holey sheets into something useable!
That's a very cheery bag -- what are you going to do when you reach the end of the book?
Jodi-I'm not sure. I maybe I'll make a collage of all the projects, post it and maybe move onto another project. I have graduation, graduation party (which includes making my house and yard presentable!), a kid going to college and all that good stuff (as I know you do too!). So I'll have a lot to keep me busy this summer.
Ooooh pretty bag. Thanks for adding the recipe to your post the other day. Ellie is going to love them!
