I saw a recipe for Russian Friendship Tea on The Grocery Cart Challenge blog. (I really like this blog.) Anyhow I thought it sounded good, so I thought I'd try it. I didn't know what an envelope of sweetened lemonade was (I'm wondering if it meant unsweetened-like koolaid, but whatever)-so I used 1/2 a cup of sweetened Country Time Lemonade. My cloves and allspice are pretty old-so I didn't use those-I just added extra cinnamon, but I think cloves and allspice would be great in this.
This was not cheap to make-Tang is expensive-at least at my store. This drink smells wonderful-very Christmasy. Orange and spice go really well together. It tastes good too, but it's pretty sweet.
I like hot drinks and this one will be good every now and then. With buttered toast! Nummy, nummy!☺

Sounds delish. Thanks for going to the quilt shop with me. I was so inspired and I almost have my top done, excluding borders. Quilt shops are magical places, don't you think?
No-thank YOU for taking me.
Wow-you're so good. I haven't done a thing with my stuff.
Yes-quilt shops are magical-I had my camera in my purse, but I forgot all about it. Wish I would have snuck a few pics!

I thought I detected a hint of artificial sweetener in this and sure enough-I look at the ingredients of Tang and-sucralose is an ingredient.
I don't like sucralose!☻
Darn those Tang people-they had to go and screw it up!
And yes Jodie-you are a SPICY girl!
Love the tea cup.
