Senior night!
I heart quilts...
Even old, tattered ones. Especially old, tattered ones. There's something homey and comforting about a well-loved, hand quilted quilt!
My aunt asked me if I wanted this little beauty and I said-YES, please! I did do a little surgery on it. I cut off the VERY tattered edges and adding binding. (I don't think it was ever bound.) Gave it a wash and dry to freshen it up. Now it will live at the bottom of my bed for the summer. I love it so much!!! Wednesday, May 5, 2010
Pink pyrex & a pretty picture
Here's my latest Goodwill find-a pink pyrex 4 quart bowl. I didn't look up what the name of this pattern is, but it looks like gooseberries to me. (Always match sponge to dish-it makes washing so much more fun!)
I paid $3.99 for it and I didn't mind because it's in good shape with only some small scratches. Thank you people who donate pretty pink pyrex to good ol' Goodwill!
And here's the pretty picture. My neighbor had credit from Kodak that she didn't have any use for-so she asked if I wanted to use it and I said SURE. So I had her order me this photo board and a trinket box with the same picture. Love them both!Have a wonderful Wednesday everybody-I'm going to try my hardest!

Cute puppy pictures...
while the cute puppy is still a cute puppy! if ya know what I mean.
Here's the marker Hubby made for Duke. I cried when he showed it to me. (I hid it from him though-I hate to cry in front of people.)Rocco was born the day before Duke died.
Remi and Rocco!
Rocco and Adrion!
Rocco and I had visitors yesterday-Dawnie, Adam, Adrion, and Remi. (You want visitors?-just get a puppy or have a baby-but a puppy is easier!) Adam just happens to be a photographer. ***Photos by Adam***

Sunday morning
I wanted to get a picture of Hubby and Rocco leaving in the gator this morning. So I snapped a few pics while I was waiting for them to get out the door.
My glass balls hanging from where the baby swing used to be.
My neighbor, Ethel, gave me Mr. Owl.
Going to get the gator.
Rocco couldn't make it the whole way up!
On their way!
Now where'd I put my tea? Oh-there it is. (Sand art-another reminder that not so long ago a kiddo lived here.)Have a great day, everybody!
