Photo journaling

Banana coconut 'ice cream' with mini chocolate chips-it was delicious.

I couldn't resist photographing these gorgeous posies!

Tuesday morning was misty.

I got a few cute shots of my handsome big boy the other day.  I can't tell you how much I love this mug!

Fall is right around the corner.

My 'garden' is very ugly, yet beautiful stuff comes out of it!

I received a beautiful gift in the mail from the equally beautiful Michaelanne.  On the back of the bird pendant is the 'Hope is the Thing with Feathers' poem by Emily Dickinson, that I love so much.  Thank you so very much, my dear!
Have a wonderful weekend, everybody!

Deer self portraits

I just uploaded a several years worth of photos from Hubby's deer cam.  I edited a few that I thought were pretty cute.  What fabulous creatures!

Photo journaling

Gooses!  Geeses! (Think-Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.)  I saw these guys out the window,  grabbed the camera, and literally ran out the door.  The only reason I know they were geese is because of the honking.

Zinnias, zinnias, zinnias-I finally cut some to bring inside.  I'd say they are my favorite flower.  Growing my own from seed, makes me love them even more.

Nasturtiums.  My flowers are so pretty individually.  As a whole-not so much.  (Which is why I don't photograph them as a whole.)  I don't spend any time caring for them, therefore they look terrible.

Caught on a barb.

HhHH.  Lined up and ready for their mug shot.
Thank goodness for volunteers!  Otherwise I'd have no maters at all.

Frozen yogurt pop-I mixed plain yogurt with a little sugar and spooned it into my handy dandy Tupperware popsicle molds.  Fun memory~there are teeth marks on the purple 'stick' part of these molds.  It reminds me that a little girl once lived here.  (There are teeth marks on some old CDs too, which probably need to be thrown away.)

It's 4:33 o'clock somewhere.

What a beautiful day to make hay (today)!  I was going to make hay (okay-mow my very high grass) today too, but I couldn't get the mower started.  Oh, well!

Have a wonderful weekend, everybody!

Photo journaling

Here's my big, beautiful Roc.  I love him so!

A hummer on a Sunday morning

My tree-the one I look at as I'm walking from mailbox to house.  The marker for when I'll be out of breath after climbing the hill.  The one I planted almost 20(!) years ago.

Clouds

My obsession

The beetle

My lovely zinnias-they got a late start.  Better late than never, though.

Pretty Pennsylvania.  (Hubby came in the house, told me to grab my camera and we took off on the Gator.  He had just seen a bald eagle, and he took me to where it had been.  It was gone, as I figured it would be.  It was a very lovely ride, though.)
Have a great weekend, everybody!

Photo journaling

Some photos from the past week or so-

Someone was eating my first nasturtium bloom and it wasn't me. (Not that I was going to, though.)

Circling

I have a cloud fetish!

This was the robins' breakfast one morning.

My sister's beautiful zinnia-mine aren't blooming yet.  I got the seeds in late, because of my gardening laziness.

Roc's been doing a lot of break dancing.  Hmmmmm-and always with a ball by his side.

The milkweed tussock moth caterpillars have been feasting on milkweed, naturally.

Have a great weekend!
