Redd

I love red, so this is Redd.  (Remember Redd Foxx?)  I made Redd quite a while ago for my kitchen (but I've never shown him-so I thought I would), but after I remade Ree-I decided I like her better.  Redd is made with thrifted t-shirts and some fabric that Larry's aunt had given me.

Speaking of red-look at this delicious homemade strawberry freezer jam my friend, Jessie, gave me.  Strawberry freezer jam is my favorite!  Jessie also gave me a loaf of English muffin bread-another favorite of mine!  (After toasting, it tastes like English muffins.)  Thank you, Jessie!

Num num!

Yet again-we had a beautiful day in PA!  (This was on Tuesday.)

My niece, Jess, and I got out the puffy paints and painted a few rocks the other day.   Quite the little artists, aren't we?  The ones that look like targets-they're suppose to be rag rugs-haha!
I hope everyone has a great day!

This and that

Hummingbird silhouette-I think this is the first time I've captured the beak open on one of these little guys!

Oh, those clouds!  I think they resemble snow covered mountains.

Another gorgeous sunrise from the other day!

I wanted a pic of the amazing clouds behind these stoplights, but there was no time to focus-it was time to GO!

Kimmie bought the fabric, she told me how she wanted it, then I made her a shower curtain.
I've made over a dozen of these shower curtains for myself, friends, and family the last few years.  This type of sewing suits me now-I don't have the patience for precise sewing and this doesn't require it.

       (Kimmie still needs to paint!)

My sister, Kimmie, is all moved into her new home now after 10 days of massive amounts of work by her, her family and friends! (Jodie gave her this cute flag!)

I LOVE this little video.  You should watch it!  Have a good day!

From the inside looking out, from the outside looking in

I caught her munching!  I took this pic through the living room window.

This is pic is from the outside looking into our dining room.  I took a pic like this about three years ago.  Some things change, some things stay the same!  Have a great weekend, everybody!

Loveliness

I got tired of my empty canning jars on my windowsill, so I decided to bring in a bunch of daisies.

I figured I might as well-there are thousands of them in the fields around my house!

It all started with five tiny black seeds.  Mmmmm basil-you smell just heavenly!

Here are a few yellow raspberries from a bush we have planted in our yard.

I love these blue/lavender wildflowers that grow everywhere here.  I looked them up and I think they are chicory (not completely sure) from the aster family.  Correct me if I'm wrong, flower people!

Here's my beautiful boy, Rocco.  In this photo he's looking at his brother (Jasper lives with my in-laws and sneaks over the hill to visit us a few times a week), who has his raw hide.

Rocco always gives me these looks that seem to say, "How can you let him chew on my rawhide, Mom?"  I say to him, "It'll be alright, Rocco.  It'll be alright."  Have a great day, everybody!

This past week

These are photos from the past week in no particular order.

This is a corner of my girlie's home.  Hubby and I went over on Saturday to celebrate Father's Day a day early.  Just the  three of us went out to eat.  That hasn't happened in a VERY long time!

My youngest sister, Kim, is a brand new homeowner!  All by herself-that's quite an accomplishment, in my opinion.  When she gets all moved in and settled, this home will be as lovely and adorable as she is!

I filled up this frame with pictures of my daughter's NYC trip from last year, at her request.

I can't walk by Rocco without him rolling onto his back, wanting a belly rub!

This is from when we went on a ride last week!

Oh, the chipping sparrow, I see so many of these birds right now.  Funny, I don't remember seeing them in years past.  They make a lot of noise, but I love it!

Preening!

I was bored waiting for my mom in the parking lot in my little town, so I grabbed my camera and started zoomin' in on stuff.  This clock tower (that's what I'm calling it) is a happenin' place for the birds to hang out!

Happy Father's Day, Dad-a day late!

Okay-now I feel better!  I hope everybody has a good day!

At Mom's house today

Mom's bleeding hearts-I love hearts!

Mom's daisies!

'Sup buttercup?

Mom's favorite flower-the lily!

Here Mom's bistro on her porch.  I love porches and I wish I had one!

Here's Buddy boy-Mom and Dad's pride and joy!
Have a wonderful day!

Around here

This morning's sunrise-I just can't not take a pic of the beautiful sunrises we have!

Rocco and I went for a little ride today-pretty reflection in the pond!

We stopped and looked at our neighbors flowers.  This is a dianthus, I think.

I saw a bear!  Oh, wait-that's just Rocco stopping to smell the flowers along the way.

More of my neighbors flowers-bonus, I see there's a bug on it.
Larry and I finally gave Rocco a bath last evening.  It had been a while!  After the bath, Larry kept squirting  water up in the air with the hose, and Rocco kept jumping around trying to bite the water.  It was hilarious! The poor guy wore himself out.  (Rocco, that is.  Larry was just fine.)  I took pics, but they didn't turn out.  Dang!  Oh well, maybe next time.

Have a nice day, everybody!

Off my camera

Home sweet home!

Home sweet mobile home!  I've been doing some work on Happy Camper, now that my dad fixed the roof.

I added 'The Roc' to the wall of fame!  I got the frame at Goodwill.  I painted it, of course.

I keep adding and adding.

And it keeps growing and growing!

My nephew's (Patrick) grad party was last evening.  Here's my sister, Jodie, being silly.

Please note Dave (my bro-out-law) holding my niece (Jess) in the bottom two pics.  Cracks me up!

The creek at dusk.

That's all for now-have a good day!
