Beautiful!

My beautiful dog-looking out the window at the turkeys Larry had pointed out to him.  Ya-he has his front paws up on the toy box, which we use as a stand-type thingy.  I imagine if he could talk he'd be saying, "And I saw turkeys strutting up the driveway and everything, Mom!"

We have an egg!  I'm excited!  I can't imagine there's a person on this earth that doesn't think that egg's a beautiful color.

My mom transferred my daughter's baby tapes (yes, I'm getting old!) to dvd for me. I took some pics of the video streaming on our tv around her birthday this year. You know~reminiscing. (Almost painful, by the way.) I found them on my ipod and then I took a screen shot of them. I thought it was kinda cool. These are not in succession, though. I must have rewound. 

Although, it looks pink-the cake was orange-it was Garfield, I made two. Twenty years ago, you could buy a cake mix with tinfoil cake pan, coloring for icing (I think), and paper cut-outs for the details all in one box. I'm pretty sure they don't make them anymore. Like I said, I'm getting old.

I just found Hoper's baby tape (well-she was 2 thru 6 or so) that I was missing, so I need Mom to transfer it to dvd too.  I've been playing it on the vcr, and recording clips with my ipod touch from the tv and sending them to my girl via imessage.  Oh dear, there's some good stuff on there and it's been fun.  But wow, it leaves me with a weird feeling in my gut!
