We are sad tonight. Our 13 year old pup, Duke, passed away. We had a good life with him and he with us. It's so hard to say goodbye-even to pets. We will miss you,
Well Rhonda-strangely enough (or not) it doesn't seem to bother her much. What have I done wrong??? Her lack of emotion at times is quite scary. I know she has a heart in there somewhere!
oh no, i'm crying! i know how hard it is to say goodbye to a faithful friend that has grown up with your kids. so so sorry for your loss! What a great dog and friend.
Thanks for your well wishes everybody. It is so very strange not having him here. Hubby will be looking for that perfect pup soon I'm sure! (The perfect pup being a full blooded German rottie.)
I bought a sign after my beloved Piper dog died that said, "Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog." Ain't that the truth. We will miss Dukey!!!

ReplyDeleteOh no! I feel so badly. I'm so sorry. Duke is the only dog I ever "put on a cake". I'm sure Hope is so sad.
