Even old, tattered ones. Especially old, tattered ones. There's something homey and comforting about a well-loved, hand quilted quilt!
My aunt asked me if I wanted this little beauty and I said-YES, please! I did do a little surgery on it. I cut off the VERY tattered edges and adding binding. (I don't think it was ever bound.) Gave it a wash and dry to freshen it up. Now it will live at the bottom of my bed for the summer. I love it so much!!!
What is not to love about this quilt? It is a beauty -- really, it is.
