This afternoon I thought I'd work on the Broadturn bag from Handmade Home. I used this lovely, yellow floral, thrifted, holey sheet. Apparently I'm into yellow-it's what I seem to always gravitate to.
It didn't take long. This bag was really pretty easy to make, although I did have a little trouble sewing the bottom on. Ah well, it's good practice.24 projects from Handmade Home (by Amanda Soule) done, 9 to go. I'm in the single digits now. Yeehawwwwwwww!!!!!!!
Love it! Yellow is my favorite color. My next house, if ever there is one, is going to have lots of bright colors and yellow!
ReplyDeleteI feel sure you will get your yellow house someday, Jessie!
ReplyDeleteYou are really doing great with those projects, Holly! I love the bag! You are so creative turning the holey sheets into something useable!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cheery bag -- what are you going to do when you reach the end of the book?
ReplyDeleteJodi-I'm not sure. I maybe I'll make a collage of all the projects, post it and maybe move onto another project. I have graduation, graduation party (which includes making my house and yard presentable!), a kid going to college and all that good stuff (as I know you do too!). So I'll have a lot to keep me busy this summer.
ReplyDeleteOoooh pretty bag. Thanks for adding the recipe to your post the other day. Ellie is going to love them!
