Daisy back-as pretty as the front

Yellow hawkweed

I'm not sure what these are called.  Mary???  (It's called daisy fleabane-thanks, Mary!)

I guess I'll be taking pictures of mostly wildflowers this year...since I didn't plant one thing, not even one seed!

Cow trio

Back yard light show!

Bea-u-ti-ful moth!

I went to an Anthropologie store for the first time last week.  I've ordered online from them before, but I've never been in the store.  Since my daughter moved to the Pittsburgh area, we've gone to some new stores-like, well, Anthropologie, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods.  (Love Trader Joes, but Whole Foods?  Well they don't call it 'Whole Paycheck' for nothing!)

Anthropologie window display.
I love everything in the store-most things are VERY pricey, but some of their housewares aren't too bad.

Here's my only purchase from Anthro-a bowl from the sale table-haha.

Rain, rain-go away.  Rocco wants to go and play!
We've had quite of bit of rain this week, here in western Pee-Ay.  (That's how a lot Pennsylvanians refer to Pennsylvania, in case you didn't know.)

New life in the rhododendron bush-again.  This time only two eggs, and just one that hatched.  Baby robin is two days old in this pic.

Bedroom corner!

That's all for now-have a great week!

A sunny little wildflower-hawkweed

Big cloud love

Daisy season!

My handsome, big/bad boy!  I say bad because he's been into chasing cars.  Bad Roc!

Same pose, different day

A wildflower I found in my yard.  I don't know what this one is called.  (It's called Star of Bethlehem-thank you, Mary!)

Only a few blossoms on my dogwood this year.

Wet!

This is Buddy, my parents' doggie.  Buddy suffered a serious spinal injury a few weeks ago.  (He was running like a crazy boy in the yard (like always!) and came to a sudden stop.)  He blew out a disk in his back and his back legs were paralyzed.  Mom and Dad made the decision to take him to Akron, OH for surgery.  He's only three years old and healthy otherwise and they didn't want to let him go.  It's been a long road, but Buddy is coming along nicely and they are hopeful for a full recovery.  (Photo by my sister, Jodie.)

My dad and his best, best Buddy!!!  (Photo by my sister, Jodie.)

I forgot to include this photo in my previous photo journal.  These are Mother's Day gifts, given.  My mom wanted a canvas of this junco photo for her bathroom, so I went ahead and ordered it for her for Mother's Day.  My mother-in-law likes this photo of this eastern bluebird, so I printed her out a copy and framed it.

My mom's Mother's Day gift in action!

Livin' the good life!

The baby robins-a few days old, on May 17th.

This is what happens in 25 short days, May 27th.  They fledged this day.

On June 4th I noticed the robins were already freshening the nest-getting ready for round two.  I noticed yesterday, there's already a little blue egg in there.  :)
That's it for now, I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Oh, rhododendrons!

Roc's enjoying the beautiful view!

Blooms for days!

I was just messing around-this is actually a candle holder (but doesn't look real?) sitting on the deck rail, a gift from a wonderful friend.  But wouldn't it be cool to sit amongst flowers like that?

The bees love them, of course.

Home sweet home.

We planted these rhododendrons the year before my daughter was born-23 years ago.  We get to enjoy these beautiful blooms for a week or so at the end of May, beginning of June.  I used to trim them, but not anymore-the bigger the better, I say!
