Photo journaling and a birthday

Mama cardinal is looking just beautiful with her orange lip.

The Roc-striking a pose.

A birthday!  I am now the mother of a 22 year old-unbelievable!

This photo by Jodie!

I tell her-look natural, look natural!  She says-how, howwww?

Oh, and she has a cat now.  Isn't he handsome???  (Of course, I'm taking pictures!)

I just love this selfie she sent me!  (She actually had a grumpy face here, but I cropped it off-ha!)

Well-that's all for now.  Have a great week, everybody!

Square pictures

A day last week I used my new iPod (Christmas gift) to take some photos, using the hipstamatic app.  (I hadn't used that app for a long time.) I hadn't been taking many photos with my old iPod, because the quality of the photos wasn't very good.  My new iPod takes much clearer photos.

Mugshot!  Hope is, sometimes, the tea and the chocolate.

Mugshot!  (I love looking at the mugshots at woodbird, them mornings.)

A corner

Chili, because it's CHILLY!

Another corner

Punk!  That little black thing is Rocco returning from the woods.  I screamed at him not to go over there-but there's a dead deer in there and if he gets it in his head he wants to go see it, nothing will stop him.

Close-up of the punk-er I mean Rocco.

Close-up of the wintry woods.

Rocco's favorite thing in the world!

Photo journaling

This is a white-breasted nuthatch.  They like to hang on my house and peck it!

Here's a snowman I made from snow rollers.  (This pic got left out of my last batch of pictures, somehow.) I would have been neater about it and taken a better picture, but I couldn't fuss too much.  It was zero degrees out and I quickly couldn't feel my fingers.

Icicles

The Roc in his element.

A gathering place

Chickadee, dee, dee in the dogwood tree, tree, tree.

I ate at Primanti Brothers with my girlie on Saturday.  You can't go wrong with cole slaw, french fries, and bacon between two slices of thick white bread!

Speaking of my girlie-tomorrow this grumpy, little girl turns the big 22.
In the forecast-heavy rain...from my eyeballs!

Have a great week, everybody!

Winter, spring, summer, and fall-in collages

Each season-so beautiful, in its own way!

Photo journaling

Some photos from the past week:
I found these dried (dead) wildflowers (weeds) by the camper.

I thought they were so pretty!  Reminded me of straw flowers.

The Roc loves his winter.

Rocco and his St. Bernard shadow

The sky really was that blue!

A sweet faced junco

Here's a snow roller I lifted off the ground.

Finally-a snownut made from a snow roller.

A shined-up snake plant

Where's Rocco?

That tree again

We celebrated my mom's birthday on Sunday.  Here, she's getting out of the way so I can take a picture of her cheesecake.  She doesn't know I'm getting her in the pic too.  She's a stinker and doesn't like her picture taken.  She's 65 and looks wonderful so I don't understand!  So if you know my mom-shhhhhh don't tell her I put this pic on here.  (I added a picture of her as a little girl onto this original-I do love my comparisons!)

A skeletal leaf caught in a snow drift.
That's all for now-have a great week.  PS-I can't believe it's February already!
