Sometimes I get lazy and I don't fill their feeder when it gets empty. I'll keep it filled now though, because they'll be leaving me next month! I have to enjoy them while I can. (I think the white-throated hummingbird is a female, and the red-throated one is a male. Why do the males get all the color???)

I love your hummingbird pics! I'm so impressed that you've been able to get such good pictures of them. I don't see them often, but anytime I do they just won't sit still. :-)

They love to sit on my clothesline outside on the deck.
They are beautiful pix, Holly! It seems like all animals and birds and insects LOVE to pose just for you!! They are so sweet. I love their little tiny feet wrapped around the clothesline!!
These are just INCREDIBLE pics!!! I have never been able to so clearly focus on their fronts like that...looks like he is wearing little red jewels around his neck! Also the way you captured the light is wonderful...Great job Holly!!!!
