A quilt for my chicken-loving chicky

Detail

Sewn and hand-quilted by me-how the heck did I have the patience for that!

The front

The back

Sewn and hand quilted by me about 10 years ago.  I was cleaning my chicky's room yesterday (it had become the junk room and was VERY dusty and buggy and junky) and came across this quilt.  So I washed it up and decided to photograph it for the first (I think) time.  I'm sure my 20 year old chicky still likes chickens, but I'll bet she wouldn't pick them up and and play with them like she used to.  Now, she doesn't like to get dirty-imagine that!

Holly that quilt is perfect! I would love to be able to quilt something like that for each one of my boys. You did a wonderful job and just think.... someday your grandchildren will appreciate that quilt too!
