This and that

Rocco in the wild blue yonder.  It doesn't get much prettier than this.

I feel so lucky to be able to see these amazing creatures every day.

Whoa-look at that face!

A misty morning this week.

This is robin cam from yesterday morning.

********************************

My neighbor and friend passed away this week. She was 69 (I think 69 is  young!) and was not well for the last few months.  I'm feeling a little bit sad and a little bit mad about it.  Death is not pretty, for sure, and when stuff like this happens it gets me thinking about stuff, you know?  Sometimes, I feel cynical and think why bother? You're born, you die-what the heck's the point?  That's one of the reasons I believe in God-because there just has to be a purpose for life on this earth.  There just has to be.

I hope everyone has a nice day!

Sorry for your loss of a friend- and bless you for saying 69 is young!
So many people are so dismissive of older people- it always makes me feel sad when I read those kind of feelings. Everyone, if they're lucky, gets old.
Anyway, take your day slow and easy, enjoy it, and keep the faith.

Wow! 69 is definitely WAY to young to die! Sorry for your loss Holly...I am sure being neighbors with someone like you brightened many of her days. I love how you always see the beauty in every day...and in all creatures big and small..HugsXXOO

I'm so sorry about your neighbor - was this the one you took to treatments? I feel the same way a lot too - why bother? But that way of thinking is not why we are here.
