Crackled eggs and More!

On my fridge.  Funny, I thought.

Pretty, pretty!

I was talking to my daughter and she told me I should make some speckled eggs that she had seen on Pinterest.  I had seen them too.  The pin lead me to The Barefoot Kitchen Witch, which gives directions on how to make them.

Of course, I was impatient and peeled them after only about an hour or hour and a half.

They didn't turn out as dark as they would have, but they're fine.  I sent her a pic and she said, "Cool!"  Tomorrow I will make them into deviled eggs.
Of course, I don't believe Easter is just about bunnies and eggs.  It's about Jesus dying on the cross and being raised from the dead.

I love this hymn by Robert Lowry-

Christ Arose

 Low in the grave He lay,
Jesus, my Savior!
Waiting the coming day,
Jesus, my Lord!

CHORUS: Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes;
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His saints to reign;
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

 Vainly they watched His bed,
Jesus, my Savior!
Vainly they sealed the dead,
Jesus my Lord!

 Death could not keep his prey,
Jesus my Savior!
He tore the bars away,
Jesus, my Lord!

Have a blessed Easter, everybody!
