Fabulous finds

Yesterday, between church and lunch-I stopped at Goodwill for a few minutes.  I found this little beauty-it's a wool hooked rug/wall hanging.  It was in the hoop still, but it had burlap hanging out around the edges.  I brought it home, stretched it a little, tightened the hoop, and then trimmed the burlap.  Taadaa!  A beautiful wall hanging.  Thank you for making this, whomever you are!!!

I tried putting it in my yellow dining room, but it didn't look right.  Then, I tried the living room.  I think I found the perfect spot!

See that cute little penny pot?  My sister's boyfriend bought that for me.  He bought it at Goodwill-I know, because I was there!  Kim must have told him that Goodwill was my most favorite store ever!

Have a fabulous day, everybody!

Love your new wall hanging! wqas wondering where you hung it because I didn't think it looked like your living room, but it is. Did you get new curtains, or why does it look so different to me? Maybe I should come visit more often. Yes I think that is what it is!

Jessie-the curtains have been hanging for about 5 years. I think you've been over since then! Come on over if you don't mind dirt. :)

You found a treasure with that rug hooking. My mom does that and her pieces will be heirlooms some day. I just know it.

Mary-they are rag balls made from t-shirts. I did try to pick out some colors that match the wall hanging. :)

Michaelanne-no, coveting thy friend's wall hanging isn't bad at all! :)
