September 1st

Harvesting from my little garden is fun.  I shared and that was fun too!

I took this photo of a clock tower with my ipod while I was waiting for my mom to meet me in town.  Today, I mistakenly discovered that I can zoom in with my ipod.  That knowledge would have come in handy yesterday!

I bought this beautiful retro sheet at Goodwill the other day.  I've had this print before, but the sheet was very thin and worn.  This particular one was, I would say, never used before.  It is very crisp and bright-as if it had been sitting in a closet for the past 30 years.  The only bad thing about it is, it smells slightly of moth balls even after laundering.

My friend, Dawnie, just told me she found me a bunch more sheets and I'm excited!

Here's the stack of my very favorite retro sheets that are in excellent condition.  I won't be making rugs from these ones, but I do want to do something with them.  Right now, I'll just enjoy looking at them on a shelf in my bedroom.

My sewing machine lives on my bunny table in my bedroom.  It doesn't get used that much right now.  But soon-if I'm going to make stuff for my camper, it will!

Sheet wreath.

Hello, girl!  (I wish I'd have know about that zoom feature when I took this pic!)

Can someone tell me how it is possible that it is September already?

I hope you all have a nice day!

Ooooh you should make a quilt with your vintage sheets. I just saw a picture of one. Let me see if I can find it...

Oh-I checked it out-it's beautiful! I would love to make quilts again-but I'm not sure I have the patience for it now. Maybe one with BIG squares-time will tell!

Thanks, Ayana!

I was going to suggest a quilt also. I think I might make one out of some of mine, but I don't have as many pretty ones as you.

I have seen your bunny table before. HAHA> Love your sheet stack. If it wouldn't be for you, I would be a sheet hoarder but I know you love them too so I love passing them onto you. I hope you like the ones I found for you. Your veggies look delish and love all your other pix too!!

Was anonymous you, Jessie???

I got my bunny table at Goodwill for 10 cents a couple of years ago. It had belonged to my good friend-that would be Dawnie-she had to clear out her basement very quickly and donated a bunch of stuff to Goodwill. Goodwill originally priced it at $19.99-I wasn't paying that much. So after a few weeks, it was marked down to 10 cents. (Now-housewares get marked down to 15 cents and clothes and sheets and such are marked down to 29 cents-inflation, you know!) So home it came with me-and I've had a bunny table in my bedroom for a few years now. I've told my friend that she may have it back any time-but nope-she doesn't want it back!

Yes, I would be the anonymous one. I don't know why this won't work for me anymore.
