Rug, rug,-rug, rug, rug,-rug, rug, rug, rug

On Sunday, my mom gave me a big bag of sheets and a little bit of fabric she no longer wanted.  I've already ripped and hooked a bunch into rugs.

I bought these socks specifically for my rug photos.  I thought they would add visual interest.  Ha!

Do you like my different foot pose?  I don't really know if it does, but I thought it might add a little visual interest too. Ha, ha!

I'm putting my hook away for a wee bit.  It's time to wash the dishes, do the laundry, mop the floors, scrub the tub, dust the lint covered everything, and then start all over again!!!

Have a wonderful day.  :)

Love those colors, socks too! Really pretty blues and purples! Hey, if you make enough rugs, you can throw them over the dust and you wouldn't even notice and you could keep on a chugging away. You are so fortunate to have found your "niche". I thought I would have found one by now but I don't know what I want to do. I guess God is teaching me patience! Keep up the beautiful work. I saw a show in the middle of the night last week that said this and it reminds me of you, "If you work with your hands, you are a laborer, if you work with your hands and mind, you are a craftsman and if you work with your hands, mind and heart, you are an artist."

Ellie wants her socks back! She told me to type that. She had a pair a while ago just the same and lost them.
How many rugs have you made now Holly?
And where are you hoarding them all?

Haha-Ellie, I hope your socks turn up!

I'm losing count, Melissa. I'm thinking about 18. So far, I've given all but 5 away to friends and family. My child took two to give to her friends' moms. She didn't want one herself, but she didn't mind giving them away. Go figure!

I love the visual interest your new socks and foot poses make! Ha ha. Your rugs are gorgeous. I just love mine and so does Amber! I'll post the pics on FB soon - we've got a house full of sickies, so things are a bit crazy now.

I love this rug! And I like your socks too.
I do think the lines on the socks and rug make a cool composition, as do the contrasting lines on the wood from the deck.
