Sunday thrifting

After our church picnic on Sunday-I moseyed on into Goodwill. I found these three lovely tins-cheap, of course. I already own a tin exactly like the first one pictured-but I always say-you can never have too many pretty tins!
Also, I found like-new children's books.

I found-I Love You Stinky Face by Lisa McCourt-(But, Mama, but, Mama, what if I were a super smelly skunk, and I smelled so bad that my name was Stinky Face? "Then I would give you a bath and sprinkle you with sweet-smelling powder." "And if you still smelled bad, I wouldn't mind, and I would hug you tight and whisper in your ear, 'I love you, Stinky Face.' "

Four Dr. Seuss books jumped into my cart, along with Bambi.

I also brought home two foam wreath forms and a cool vintage sheet.

I love thrifting! I can get good stuff for not much money. In other words-CHEAP!

***On a side note-look at the size of almost five month old Rocco the Rottweiler's paw!***

Okay, Holly, it is a good thing you have Rocco trained because with the size of those paws, he will be able to do whatever he wants to do and you won't be able to do much about it. Are you sure he isn't half horse? Just kidding. He is so sweet though. I think he will be a gentle giant! Love your Goodwill buys. I didn't find too much yesterday, but did get a few little treasures. Hey, I love that little white bowl with the blue flowers by your awesome little books! Hey, could I read those Rachel Ashwell books sometime? I love shabby chic!!!

Dawnie-I think he just might be half horse!

The bowl was my grandma's(Dad's mom).

Yes-I'll be sure to give you the Shabby Chic books-never thought to give them to you before for some reason!

Hannah, my mother's Great Dane, has gigantic paws too. They'd make a cute couple.

You found yourself some treasures -- but no Pyrex?

It's been awhile since I've been on here. I like the tins, but I LOVE the books! I hope I can find some when I visit PA - speaking of which-do you have a couple hours that you and Dawnie (maybe Jodie) too could come see me?
