It's January 11, 2010

Anyone else have a calendar in the bathroom? I'm running out of wall space everywhere else-so in the bathroom it went.

You never know where you might want to know what date it is!☺

Tip of the day-Save your dull sewing machine needles and use them for hanging stuff. They're sturdy and don't do as much damage as nails. This tip of the day brought to you by my neighbor-Ethel!

Sadly, I have run out of wall space too. And I like that sewing maching needle idea. Lots of those laying around.

Very cute, yes like you!!!! You are so bad for wishing me a baby. Just between us and your bloggers, Adam is so thankful our boys are older. We decided we are too old for babies. There is nothing he misses about babies. There are things I miss but don't want to go back. No how,no way.

Haha-no how, no way. Yes-I have to agree. Babies are wonderful, but babies hard!!!

Dawnie and I were discussing this theory the other day-

God gives parents(well, most)this intense love for their babies, so Mommy and Daddy will keep on loving their children through the years and during the bad times. For example-the teenage years!☺

Dawnie-How is your new great nephew doing???

Oh, I so agree about the love through the teen years - I'm experiencing that right now and I have another theory. God makes teens soooo difficult at times so that when they leave home, parents don't feel quite so sad!
Love the needles idea - very good. I sometimes use straight pins. I have a pantry cabinet in my kitchen that is very tall. I put cork board on the inside of the door so I could hang my calendar and any notes/reminders/grocery lists there. It is an often-used cabinet and sometimes the things get knocked down, but at least it is there.

Oh yes-I agree with your theory too. That difficult behavior helps you shoo them out the door. Time for you to leave the nest!

Oh-the cork board on the inside of the cabinet is a good space saving idea.☺
