I found a good use for Le

Le Creuset that is.

Take water, citrus peels, and cinnamon and boil er up for a few minutes. Then turn off the heat and smell Christmas throughout the whole house.

PS-My husband just walked over to the stove and asked me-what is that? I said-clementine peels and cinnamon. Doesn't it smell great? He says-Weirdo! and walks away. Well dear-I think you're the weirdo!

PSS-Make sure you don't forget to turn your stove off-you wouldn't want to ruin your pot. (I know I wouldn't.)

I'm glad you don't think I'm a weirdo, Rhonda.

22 years ago tomorrow-you were in my wedding. And Jodie, and Dawnie, and Michelle, and Kimmie, and Tara, and Elise, and Shawna. I think that's it. Please tell me if I'm missing anyone!

Sign out, silly sister. You are confusing the handful of people reading this. You better sign out or I'll compose a bloggy post about how your bedroom made me want to curl up into the fetal position and chew off my right arm.

I just came home from caroling to my fire alarms going off and a house full of smoke. I was making turkey stock when the power went out, then we had to leave the house so i didn't realize that the stove was still on. I'm going to have to do a pot of that smelly stuff and sit it in every room!

OH NO!

This would smell great if I had some cinnamon sticks. Where did you get yours? I haven't seen any around. Of course, I haven't hit the craft shops. That is the only place I can think would have them? Tell Larry it's his supper and serve it in a bowl for him. HA.

Holly C. said...

I didn't use cinnamon sticks-just good ole ground cinnamon. The sticks would be prettier though!

well..... i got out the cinnamon and peeled the oranges and put it all in a pot. The stove and oven dont work now. And i have a big Christmas party at my house tonight. Im thinking i might drag the bbq inside to mask the smell if smoke all through out the house.
Oh and to make matters worse i the wedding dress was out airing.

Oh no-can you make some coffee or popcorn? Those usually make the house smell good. For your dress-if you could safely lay it outside for a while-I think that would help.

Don't worry, everything will work out. (Easy for me to say, right?)

but wait theres more. the damage is that bad that i have to get professionals in to clean and have the walls and ceiling repainted!
Luckily im insured...which covers all the dry cleaning too.
Sooo the party, we had it at my partners sisters place, i ran over a bird on the way and i brought a raw ham with me.
They say it comes in threes right?
Now you can say everything will work out. :-)
