I made some Febreeze today...

The recipe for homemade Febreeze is here.

It doesn't happen very often-but when I get the house cleaned up really good-I like to go around and spray Febreeze on the 21 year old carpets and stinky doggy's bed. The stuff is expensive, so when I saw the homemade recipe, I decided to get all domestic and make my own.

It's just 25 oz. of water with 2-4 tablespoons of fabric softener added to it. Gayle at The Grocery Cart Challenge makes her own fabric softener too, with-get this-cheap hair conditioner, vinegar and water. I haven't tried that yet-but someday I may have to.

***Check out the yard of Christmas material in the background that I bought at a quilt shop yesterday with Dawnie***

Okay, even if we don't use our fabric and get lazy, you can use it for a backdrop for pictures and we won't feel guilty!!!
