From the outside, looking in

You want to be a peeping Tom? Here's a pic of our dining room from outside the window.

You know what? I would always love to look inside houses at night when the lights were on-say when I'd drive by (well-not when I was driving-when someone else was driving). Not to peep on people, but just to look at the decor. My mil (that's mother-in-law-in case you didn't know) always thought I was very strange for that.

I didn't see anything wrong with it. I figured they would close their curtains if they didn't want anybody to see.

Am I the only one who likes to peek at other people's decor-through their window? (And I mean driving by, not walking up to their window like a true peeping Tom.)

And Jodie-no smart remarks-and you know what I mean!☺

Just don't take pictures of other peoples windows otherwise you may have the police knocking on your front door. It does look inviting. More buttons hey...

I like looking in peoples windows at night when driving by too. It's fun to see how everybody else lives. Now my neighbor on the other hand, and I think you know how much I like him has a ladder up against the big maple tree outside my living room window. He cut some branches while we were away and has never taken it down and I wouldn't put it past him.

Oh Jessie-me thinks you should accidentally knock that ladder over!

And it makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one who likes to peek!☺

I hate to admit it too since I'm a townie but I like to do the same. I think we should have been in real estate, Holly. Then we could go look at everyone's houses.

Haha-Now there's an idea!☺

And another person who likes to peep-I guess I'm not so strange after all.

I LOVE doing this, i don't want to snoop, but just looking at how other people decorate. Its funny, i have posted about this before too. One of my favorite things to do when driving through a neighborhood at dusk is look in other peoples windows :)

Oh-thank goodness-I'm not the only one. Yay!

Okay, I'll admit it, I love looking as I go past too - especially the really big houses with the fancy windows - you're right, if they don't want people looking, they should pull a blind.

I peek when I go for walks in my neighborhood. I stare and everyone knows it. It is usually still a little light out. I love commenting (to myself) oh, i love the landscape, or flowers or their curtins, etc, etc...yeah, I'm crazy for talking to myself.

Have you done anything with your Goodwill finds yet?
